Hello and Welcome to Best Day Boarding! Please allow us to introduce ourselves! We are Heather Schachtner and Sophie Denio and we co-operate Best Day Boarding! Heather owns and operates Berner Babies, as well as own Honey Creek Properties (a residential rental company), Honey Creek Cattle as well as, has her real estate license. She is busy but her passion has always been dogs! Sophie has an incredible passion and kindness when it comes to animals and it truly shows! She has worked for Berner Babies since she was 16! She understands the needs of the dogs and is hoping to learn all about operating her own business! She also has grooming/bathing experience from a nearby groomer!
Together, we are operating the Best Day Boarding facility – where your dog comes home and it shows, that they had the best day ever! We built our facility with the dogs comfort in mind! Everything on this property, revolves around dogs and now, we hope our world includes your dog too! We will offer a variety of services, beyond just your dog staying here – we offer the same love and compassion to your dog that we show to our own dogs. We will make sure they are having a great time! All dogs have inside space as well as access to outside via a doggy door. Dogs that do not know how to use a doggy door will be taken outside on a routine basis or have their doggy doors left open. Our inside dog areas feature heat and air conditioning – to keep your pet comfortable!
Daily Rate Per Dog: $24
Prices are listed per dog, per day.
Dogs from the same family, can stay in the same room for a discounted rate of $14/day– a $10 discount
Dogs from the same family that request or need a separate room, can stay for a discounted rate of $19/day– a $5 discount
Rates will be increased starting September 1, 2027
New Daily Rate Per Dog: $28
2nd dog same room per day: $21
2nd dog, separate room per day: $19
Drop off and pick up time is between 9am and 2pm during week days (M-F).
Please let us know an approximate time, so that we can have your dog's area ready. Pick up and drop offs are by appointment only after 2pm Monday through Friday by appointment only on weekends and holidays.
Dog must have UP TO DATE shot records from a vet.
Dogs must also be FLEA FREE and preventative treatment on a routine basis.
Dogs without these items WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Due to no call/no shows or last minute cancellations – a deposit may be required.
If you cancel within 72 hours of your scheduled stay, 100% of your deposit will be refunded.
If cancelling after that – the deposit is non-refundable.
Your deposit goes towards your final balance due at pick up!
We understand that the deposit is inconvenient, however, we want to make sure we are available to everyone that will need us – and not those who do not. No show reservations mean someone else missed out staying with us. So please be mindful of your reservation.
Deposits can be made by Venmo, CashApp, or with a credit/debit card over the phone (4% fee applies to credit/debit card usage)
